I'm Captain James Nelson, and I have been fishing the bays and lakes of Southern California for more
than 35 years. Born and raised in San Diego, I cut my teeth fishing Mission Bay, and rode my bike to San Diego Bay after school many times, while growing up. As a tournament angler with FLW, WON Bass, and East County Bassmasters, I have learned to refine my fish finding skills. These skills are what I teach with every guide trip. When you fish San Diego with me, you will catch fish; learn some techniques, and have a great time. I am Licensed, Bonded, Insured, and CPR Certified. I am a father of four, and considered by others to be an excellent guide, educator, and a pleasure to fish with. I work well with kids, beginners, and seasoned anglers alike.
