What's in a Name?

The Fish Icon, or as it's known by its technical / Greek name "icthus", signifies our relationship to Christianity. It by no means is there to exclude anyone, nor to be used as a form of elitism or blatant advertising. It is purely a symbol of faith.

The story behind the icthus (Fish Icon) is pretty amazing. You must remember it was used long before the Internet, and social networking sites like MySpace, and Facebook. During the early days of Christianity, Christians were often put to death for practicing their faith, so they would worship in secret places. A fish painted on the outside door of a house, let other Christians know that they would be safe, and welcomed inside. The Fish Icon is now often used to identify Christians and / or Christian businesses. So how fitting it seemed to take it to the next step, and use it as our company name - The Fish Icon.
